Project Manager – Pallet Rack Systems

Hammerhead Warehouse Systems is looking for a Project Manager who can own a project from first sketch to final walkthrough. You'll design racking layouts in AutoCAD, estimate materials and labor, coordinate procurement, and keep installation crews on schedule and on budget. If you're the type of PM who wants to see a warehouse floor go from empty concrete to a fully operational storage system, this is your role.

What You'll Do

• ● Design precise pallet rack layouts in AutoCAD based on client storage needs and site conditions
• ● Collaborate with the sales team to scope projects and develop tailored storage solutions
• ● Prepare detailed estimates covering materials, freight, labor, and permits
• ● Order components and materials for each project, tracking deliveries to prevent delays
• ● Manage installation crews and subcontractors on-site, ensuring work meets quality standards and schedule
• ● Coordinate across clients, contractors, and internal teams to resolve issues and keep projects moving
• ● Work with accounting to manage project budgets and ensure timely vendor payments
• ● Provide regular project updates to clients and address concerns promptly
• ● Lead installation teams and foster a results-driven, collaborative environment

What We're Looking For

• ● Project management experience with a focus on warehouse systems or pallet rack installations
• ● Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD
• ● Demonstrated experience estimating costs for racking systems, freight, and labor
• ● Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• ● Fluent in English

Nice to Have

• ○ Bilingual in Spanish
• ○ Familiarity with vendor payment processes and working with accounting teams
• ○ Knowledge of building codes, permits, and industry regulations for warehouse storage systems
• ○ Experience managing geographically distributed installation crews
