The Project

Selective pallet racking installation for a plastic fabrication and PVC pipe fittings manufacturer in Carrollton, TX. Hammerhead designed the layout, secured a high-pile storage permit to safely maximize storage height, and completed installation on schedule despite DFW power outages, delivering 420 pallet positions and an immediate jump in operational efficiency.

The Challenge

The customer needed to store more within their existing footprint and create a neater, more efficient layout. Maximizing storage height required a high-pile storage permit, and mid-project power outages across the DFW area threatened the installation schedule.

The Outcome

Hammerhead set up the selective racking, secured the high-pile storage permit, and worked through the DFW power outages to complete installation on schedule. The customer was able to immediately start improving operational efficiency in a cleaner, higher-capacity warehouse layout.
