New Facility Pallet Rack Installation

The Project

Large-scale selective pallet rack installation for a full-service construction company, delivering 4,417 pallet positions and 1,096 pick levels across a new facility. The system provides dedicated palletized storage for oversized items alongside hand-stack pick levels for smaller parts, all reinforced with rack protection accessories and engineered to structural compliance standards.

The Challenge

The project required close coordination with the customer's active construction schedule, including a multi-month material storage period and a mid-installation pause to allow the facility's sprinkler vendor to complete overhead fire protection work before racking could resume beneath it.

The Outcome

Hammerhead provided over three months of material storage to align with the construction timeline, then worked a flexible installation schedule around the sprinkler vendor's requirements. After returning to the jobsite, the team completed the remaining installation in a few weeks, finishing ahead of the customer's projected schedule and giving them earlier access to fully operational rack storage.
