The Project

Hammerhead designed, supplied, and installed a pallet racking system for a temperature-controlled facility in San Bernardino County, CA. The project added roughly 2,000 pallet positions for the customer's temperature-sensitive inventory, installed in about two weeks.

The Challenge

The customer needed more pallet storage inside a temperature-controlled room, with an efficient layout and a demanding schedule. Because the operation depends on holding that temperature, material delivery and installation had to be coordinated to keep disruption low and keep the project moving, and the new capacity had to be ready as soon as possible.

The Outcome

Hammerhead provided design support, project coordination, material delivery, and installation, delivering about 2,000 pallet positions in a two-week install. Close coordination across engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and the install crew got the racking on site quickly and kept the schedule tight. The finished system makes full use of the temperature-controlled room, with end-of-aisle guards and column protectors at the ends of every row.
