The Project

A beverage company was decommissioning a 35,000 sq ft warehouse in Madison, WI on a tight, landlord-driven move-out timeline. Hammerhead tore out the full storage system, a structural pick module with carton flow and pallet flow plus selective pallet rack, and relocated it to the company's facility in Salt Lake City, UT for reinstallation, clearing the building two weeks ahead of the required date.

The Challenge

The customer was vacating its Madison warehouse and had to be completely out within a tight deadline set by the landlord. The facility held a complete, multi-system storage setup, a structural pick module running carton flow and pallet flow alongside selective pallet rack, that had to come down cleanly, be tracked, and ship to a new building in Salt Lake City without damage or lost components.

The Outcome

Hammerhead dismantled the entire system, relocated it to Salt Lake City, UT, and reinstalled it, including the pick module, selective rack, pallet flow, and carton flow. The crew cleared the Madison warehouse two weeks ahead of the required move-out date, epoxied every anchor hole in the slab, and secured the landlord's sign-off early, saving the customer money on holdover and restoration costs.
